Elizabethan Embroidery

The Tapestries of Mary, Queen of Scots

I was fortunate enough to be able to see first hand many of the small tapestries stitched by Mary Queen of Scots during her years she was in custody.  This class is based on the information learned by inspecting the tapestries at the Clothworker's Guild in London.  I have been planning to recreate some of these pieces, and will be blogging my progress!
